The Sumur is a biggie, it also has a wider than average opening, making it perfect to use as a planter for an indoor tree. There are no two views the same on this pot, you can spin it around for a whole new look. It shows it's layers of history through its texture and evidence of its former use with a dark stain to the bottom as pictured.

Collection

A curated collection of original terracotta olive pots, each chosen for its character and charm. They are one of a kind pieces, working perfectly both in the garden and as interior statements. Often now found adorning homes styled with foliage, bare branches or simply left empty.

Originally handmade to store olive oil and grains c1930, each tells a story of its former use. Unique with its own imperfections, please expect that pots are in their original condition. Depending on intended use, please see care info.

Pot stands can be purchased separately.

Care

Please note, whitewash pots are not intended to be used outdoors. Avoid contact with water and dry dust.

Care

Take special care to simply clean with a damp cloth. For pots with a whitewash finish clean only with a dry cloth.

Terracotta is a porous material, pots are recommended as display only for dried, preserved + faux foliage. Use with a flexible pot liner to allow for fresh flowers in water.

For outdoor use pots must be protected from frost. We advise creating a drainage hole, many of our pots will have one. If used as a planter we recommend using a plastic pot liner within to allow for expansion of frozen soil + water.
