Packed with character, the Bampton's deep reddish colouring is dappled with darker shades and a deceiving mark that appears like a hole but is in fact solid. The eye-catching war wounds only emphasise the old age of this antique terracotta pot.

Antique Olive Pot Collection

Repurposed as large decorative statement pieces for the home + ornamental sculptures for the garden, Kiln’s collection of large Turkish olive pots + jars were used traditionally to store olive oil + preserves as early as the 19th Century. Each is individually selected for its authentic hand thrown charm + patina capturing years of desirable ageing.

Care

Take special care to simply clean with a damp cloth. For pots with a whitewash finish clean only with a dry cloth.

Terracotta is a porous material, pots are recommended as display only for dried, preserved + faux foliage. Use with a flexible pot liner to allow for fresh flowers in water.

For outdoor use pots must be protected from frost. We advise creating a drainage hole, many of our pots will have one. If used as a planter we recommend using a plastic pot liner within to allow for expansion of frozen soil + water.
